I Have dug on the cult since Love Removal machine. I am A Native American and can only offer my apologies for the Sad Deal on the young native pay off. I have Loved The Band and the music since the early eighties,Thank you Sir and Never Stop.

aphrodisiac jacket was my fave on that album. at the time i thought they were straying too far from the goth stuff into rock.

Oui. He is fan friendly, but he really likes intellectually stimulating conversation at a deep level. We were pretty hammered and it wasn't working. He was cool though. My buddy was really getting in his face over breaking up the Cult and we had to calm our friend down. Ian tried to explain and be patient.

you mean this guy is "fan friendly" ?

I meant Kurt Cobain... All the great Seattle "grunge" bands listened to The Cult. Where do you think Cobain got his hatred of fame... from Ian. Ian told me he burned all of his platinum records and all awards when the Cult broke up before Holy Barbarians. Total Trip.

For those talking about his voice going, I met the guy and drank with him for a couple hours in DC after the Holy Barbarians sets. He's a guy who really wants to please fans, badly. He sings his voice out simple as that. He's got the rock star vibe going like Robert Plant. Very smart guy and patient with the blitzed state we were in. He loves the fan connection big time. These guys are the "missing link" band that carried us from New Wave crap in the 80's to Curt Cobain.

Put on the The Cult's 'Electric' and feel like a million bucks. Billy Duffy's Gibson/Marshall sound is fantastic.
HI
